Pirates of the Pacific Gold Coast

Cruise through the Gold Coast waterways on a wooden tall ship, followed by a traditional spit roast dinner while being mesmerised by the legend of the Rose of the Winds. Captain Jack hosts the evening’s entertainment, join him as he sails through the South Pacific in search of the Rose of the Winds and experience fantastic traditional dances during a one hour Polynesian dance show, with beautiful colours and music from throughout the South Pacific Isles.

What to expect

Meet Captain Jack at Mariners Cove where you will board the Maranoa, the Gold Coast’s only timber tall ship, for a one hour cruise up and down the South Mortenbay Marine Park. Listen to the legend of the Rose as you gently sail through the waterways while the sun sets behind you.

When you return to land you will be guided to the Sunset Bar and Grill to enjoy a delicious traditional spit roast feast. Here, you can sit back and order from the bar or desert menu as you enjoy the full South Pacific experience with a one hour dance show displaying traditional dances from various islands.
