Burke & Wills (1985), directed by Graeme Clifford,is a biographical adventure film based on the real-life historic 1860-1861 Burke and Wills expedition. Watch Irish explorer Robert O'Hara Burke (Jack Thompson AM) and British scientist William John Wills (Nigel Havers) attempt to cross central Australia from Melbourne to the Gulf of Carpentaria and create the first maps of the outback.
