Situated in the Warner Roadshow Studios on Australia's Gold Coast, Digital Sound & Vision (DSV) provides the film and television industry a world-standard post production facility, on-site in the heart of Australia's premier filming location.

DSV is independently operated by Vic Kaspar, who has been providing professional audio post services to the Queensland Film Industry for over twenty years,and features the latest Digidesign digital non-linear equipment. Six Pro Tools workstations, each equiped with non-linear digital video, are utilised in the editing suites, ADR, foley and mixing stages, keeping everything in the digital domain throughout the entire post process, for the highest possible quality and maximum efficiency.

DSV were the first in Australia to install the complete Multichannel Pro Solutions (MPS) 5.1 discrete surround monitoring system from Miller & Kriesel Sound Corp. (M&K) (as used by Lucasfilms, Sony Pictures, Dolby Digital Laboratories, Warner Bros, etc.).

The THX cetified MPX system includes three MPS-150 Main Monitors for the front left, centre and right channels, two MPS-150 Tripole Surround Speakers and a MPS-350 Active Subwoofer. The system has been installed in DSV's digital mixing stage as the reference monitoring for mixing and mastering in standard stereo and 5.1 digital surround.

The mixing stage features a Digidesign's Pro Control system, integrating with 192 voices / 256 tracks of Pro Tools HD playback, 16 tracks of Tascam DA-88 tape, and a large screen Sony projector formatted for either 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios, outboard gear from Lexicon, TC|Electronic, Tubetech, Urei, Dolby, and is DVD and HDTV compatible.
