'Music with Monica' provides early-childhood music groups for parents/carers and 0-4 year old children. All groups are planned and run by a Registered Music Therapist who uses LIVE music to address the overall development of the child. Musical games, instrument play and the singing of familiar and new songs are used to adress the development of social skills, communication, motor skills and cognition. To enhance the musical expereience, the music therapist also uses puppets, scarves, bubbles and a parachute among many other props. Key-word siging and picture symbols are also used to enhance the experience for children with special needs. No musical ability is necessary as the children learn through involvement. All equiptment is provided at no additional cost. Group locations are being added all the time so please enquire to find out about a 'Music with Monica' group near you.
