CELLO LESSONS with Mr David Sue Yek - Robina, Carrara, Gold Coast
Group or private lessons are available if a suitable lesson partner can be found.
Lessons are held weekly either 30min or 1hr.
Lessons are highly suitable for students attending State schools who would like private tuition to further develop their talent and interest.
Our big project for 2010 was an orchestra of 60 cellists playing live on stage at once.
I am able to teach absolute beginners and advanced students.
I have international performing experience.
It does not matter if you do not know how to read music, I can teach you
or if you feel you don't have a musical ear. We can develop this together.
Adults and children can learn. You are never to old to learn.
I am able to help recommend an instrument purchase and music learning books.
Also able to put students through AMEB exams.
Evening teaching slots are available for people that work during the day.
Experience
I have been tutoring for a number of years on the Gold Coast and Toowoomba. I have been working mainly at private colleges E.g The Glennie School, Fairholme, Downlands
All Saints Anglican School, Emmanuel College.
Qualifications
I have a Bachelors degree in Music with Honors which I received from the QLD Conservatorium.
I also have an Associate Music Diploma awarded by the Australian Music Examinations Board.
