Gold Coast Kids Therapy is a children's occupational therapy and speech pathology service. Physiotherapy is coming soon!
The Occupational Therapist will work with the child and their family, to support their participation in activities they want to do, need to do and/or are expected to do, at home, in the community or at daycare/school. This may be everyday living tasks such as dressing, feeding, and toileting, motor activities such as using a pencil or scissors, play and social skills, or attention skills.
The Speech Pathologist works with children with difficulites with speaking listening, following directions, using language to socialise, or with feeding.
Children with NDIS funding are able to access the service if they are self-funded or if a third-party is managing their NDIS funds. Medicare Plans (CDMP) from GPs are also accepted for both Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology.
