Looking for after hours doctors? We operate three after hours surgeries (located at Southport and Palm Beach) for patients who need medical attention after hours and cannot contact their own doctors, do not have regular local doctors or are visitors to the area. Home visits and nursing home visits can also be arranged when necessary.
What are the fees and is any bulk-billing available?
Patients presenting to the Surgery locations with a current Medicare card are able to be bulk-billed with Medicare Australia. If a Medicare card cannot be produced, accounts issued must be paid at the time of consultation.
All home visits are bulk-billed if the visit occurs in the after hours times (i.e. call after 4pm Monday to Friday and after 10am on a Saturday). However, if a patient doesn't have a current medicare or veterans affairs card, an account must be paid at the time of the visit. All home visits of local residence will be bulk billed.
