Tamborine Mountain Accommodation
All lodges, rooms and cabins at Cedar Creek Lodges have direct dial phones, internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning, plasma screen televisions and DVD players. We have a number of accommodation packages that combine a stay in one of our rooms with a tour, dinner, massage and more.

Meeting, Events and Dining Venues
Meetings and events can be held at this Gold Coast conference venue indoors, outdoors undercover or in the rainforest. All conference rooms are set with fresh flowers, notepads and pens, spring water and mints. Standard conference packages include OHP screens, flip charts, TVs, DVDs, VCRs, standard whiteboards, electronic whiteboards and top of the range data projectors.
The food and beverage team tempts delegates with delicious seasonal menus. Fresh locally produced ingredients include organic herbs from the kitchen garden. Breakfast with the birds; enjoy an Australian barbecue in the bush, or a three-course fine dining experience with selected beverages.
Ivory Jacks Club Lounge: An intimate meeting or dining venue for up to 40 people. Elegant colonial furnishings, a feature rock and brick fireplace, Chesterfield leather settees, magnificent antiques, and original artworks set the scene.
Rainforest Gallery Restaurant: A casual Mount Tamborine restaurant venue for up to 120 people. This venue is surrounded by subtropical gardens and rainforest. Features include water fountains, rock pools. Soft lighting illuminates the rainforest by night.
Rainforest Amphitheatre and Island Glade: A captivating setting for up to 150 people banquet style. This superb venue stands majestically beside the tumbling waters of rainforest- fringed Cedar Creek. The high roof, polished timber floors and jasmine covered pillars are surrounded by gently lapping rock pools. This indoor-outdoor venue has a stage, a stainless steel barbecue, an oversized ice-bucket, and a mahogany buffet. Add to the ambience of the occasion with a Thunderbird Bonfire featuring dancing, scented cinders bouncing above the babbling creek. Entertainment with live music or a DJ can be arranged.
The Amethyst Room: This stand alone 130 square metre conference room has fantastic natural light, air-conditioning and wireless broadband access.

Action Packed Adventures!
Choose from an extensive range of activities to suit all levels of fitness and experience. Build team spirit away from the interruptions of the workplace and create an environment for corporate development in the great outdoors.
Go bush walking or horse trail riding through superb mountain scenery, ancient rainforest and natural bushland. Take the challenge of Australia’s longest and highest adventure ropes course. Swing on high ropes, take a flying fox, crawl through moving barrels, nets and more. There are 65 jungle games and four levels of challenges in this adventure playground.
Play a tactical game of Laser Skirmish. This team based combat is better than paintball, there’s no paint and no pain. Try rock climbing and abseiling above the rainforest valley. The natural rock wall is around 15 metres high. Abseiling is a medium level fitness activity. It is an individual challenge with team support.
Learn orienteering using a compass, map, and bearings to navigate the terrain. Teams stop at checkpoints to complete a series of mental, physical and creative challenges. The Thunderbird Triangle features archery, the Leap of Faith and a Commando Course Test the teams’ straight eye and steady hand in the archery field, take the challenge of the Leap of Faith and get down and dirty in the commando mud course. The perfect Gold Coast school holiday activity that will leave the entire family wanting to come back!
Removed but not remote...
Cedar Creek Lodges is located in the lush Gold Coast Hinterland less than an hour by road from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Delegates can relax, unwind, look, listen, learn and become motivated in this sensational setting. Group transport can be arranged from various locations including Coolangatta and Brisbane airports.
From Brisbane take the M1 south to exit 35. Follow the signs to Beenleigh Beaudesert Road and travel for about 22km. Turn left at Tamborine Mountain Road intersection. Travel about 6.5km to the Thunderbird Park sign on the left at Cedar Creek Falls Road.
From the Gold Coast take the M1 north to Exit 57, turn left onto the Old Pacific Highway. At the roundabout, take the second exit to Tamborine Oxenford Road. Travel for about 20 km, see a giant fig tree in a roundabout and turn right to Long Road. Travel to the next roundabout and turn right to Eagle Heights Road. Travel to the T junction and turn right on to Tamborine Mountain Road. Travel for about 5km to the Thunderbird Park sign on the right.
