PJP Photography and Digital Media Pty Ltd was formed out of Peter Jackson Productions. It is now a team of eight multi-skilled professionals qualified in various aspects of photography, digital media, production, copywriting and administration. We are a local company based on the Gold Coast and servicing the entire of South East Queensland primarily in the property marketing industry and the conventions and special events industry. However a huge skills base assures that any photographic or multi media assignment is completed to full potential. We have full time staff based on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast.
Peter Jackson was initially trained in photography at the Queensland College of Art ( now Griffith Uni ) in Brisbane from 1980 - 82 attaining a certificate in photography majoring in audio visual production. First jobs within the industry included F Stop colour lab learning the high standards of professional production. An early partnership saw the formation of a small business in George St, Brisbane City where the foundations of business today were formed. In 1985 Peter was employed photographing, producing and staging audio visual presentations for business conventions on the Gold Coast. 1987 - 91 was a time for travel and adventures with photography. Employment included ships photographer on the worlds #1 Holland America Cruise Line and ski resort photographer shooting stills and video for holiday makers in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
At 29 years old in 1993 Peter formed PJP and began servicing the Gold Coast and Brisbane convention and real estate markets. By always staying at the forefront of technology and offering quality product and 100% service we have always managed to retain our clients and acquire new ones in the evolution of a quality business. The equipment and techniques we use will always be at the cutting edge.
