Did You Know it’s Small Business Week?

Celebrating the contribution small business makes to our state, Queensland Small Business Week started on the 24th of July and runs through to the 31st.

There are a number of events planned to help small businesses learn about best practices, latest trends and innovative technologies.

As part of the campaign, this Saturday will become Buy Locally Saturday, an expansion of the “Think Queensland, buy locally” effort. Business owners are encouraged to hold an event offering discounts, prizes or special offers to help entice locals to support local business.

Businesses owners are encouraged to register any other activities, promotions or talks throughout the week so other business owners and operators have a chance to hear new ideas and connect with other locals, creating a more resilient local business sector.

So if you’re a local business make the most of this week and either host an even, or attend one of the many opportunities available to learn, grow and network with the local business community.
